Our story

A little about Turas

Turas was created after recognising how difficult life can feel beyond hospital treatment. After more than 70 surgeries linked to neurological and neurosurgical conditions, it became clear how many people are left navigating recovery, wellbeing and everyday life without enough support or understanding.

Turas exists to help bridge that gap — through honest guidance, shared experience and supportive community.

Fitness & wellbeing

Movement, on your terms

One area often overlooked during recovery is fitness and confidence around exercise. Turas recognises how intimidating gyms and physical activity can feel when living with a neurological or neurosurgical condition.

Founded by someone with lived experience who is also a qualified personal trainer, Turas aims to provide realistic, supportive and accessible wellbeing guidance for individuals unsure where to begin.
